Actually, you are the real shining, beautiful and glorious PEARL in the crown of all great TENORS f
rom present and from the past!
Who else did (ever!) so beautifully ending of Una furtive lagrima – as you did?!... (To write this 
statement, I was listening as many as 23 famous tenors’ recordings!).
On April 21, 2008, I witnessed great encore of famous aria of Tonio from “La Fille du Regiment” san
g by Juan Diego Florez in Metropolitan Opera in New York… After the encore – I thought about YOU, and
 how even more interesting would be if YOU would done that role… Noi aspettiamo per TE in America! Vi
eni!!! (More often!)

ommittment meant it was impossible.  Teh clips of Bulent on Youtube are amazing, how long before he b

We also saw you as Edgardo in Edinburgh (27/06/07) and were blown away!  The way you so effortlessl
y sang that (very long!) "Verranno a te" phrase and then topped it all with the E flat!!!!
Quite literally jaw-dropping stuff!

Dear Bulent,

I've just returned from Glasgow, where I flew to attend your magnificently sung, totally "inhabited
" Edgardo. When you sing this role, the opera is no longer "Lucia di Lammermoor", but it is transfo
rm
ed into "Edgardo di Ravenswood".

Even though I enjoy flying to Europe and Canada specifically to be enveloped by that gorgeous Bezdu
z sound, I wish you would sing more often here in the States, where you have enthusiastic fans eage
r 
to see and hear you in person. There is no recording or video that can duplicate the impact and ene
rg
y of your voice as it radiates out into opera house space like a supernova.
